1. The Sky Wave Gin and Cocktail Bar

Open every Friday and Saturday 6pm - 11pm.

The wonderfully intimate Sky Wave Bar is one of Bicester's best kept secrets. If you know, you know.

Away from the high street, it boasts elegance, refinement and an experience not found anywhere else for miles around. It really is the most exclusive of local venues.

At the top of the avenue on the wonderful Bicester Motion site (entrance on Buckingham Road), we are open every Friday and Saturday Night from 6pm - 11pm. No booking is necessary.

The site IS open to the public, despite the barriers being down - just come to the security box at the main gate and tell the staff you are coming to The Sky Wave Bar. If the gate is not manned use the intercom to call us and we can open the gate for you remotely.

2. Bar 101 @ Sky Wave

Then open every Friday & Saturday 4pm - 11pm.

Bar 101 is our outdoor summer offering, with street food and live music.

Housed under a large stretch tent to ward off the unpredictable British weather, this atmospheric location offers not only Sky Wave's world-renowned gins and vodkas, but also beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks.

Family-friendly in a safe, low-traffic area next to the Sky Wave cocktail bar, Bar 101 will also offer food in the form of guest food trucks on Fridays and Saturdays, in partnership with the amazing team at The Olive Tree Pub Co. The food offer changes weekly - see the forecast here. On any given week, the offering may be pizza, fish and chips, gourmet burgers, or Greek.

We are also offering live music as often as we can. Check here for our music programme for the rest of the summer.

What's on a name? We have called it Bar 101 to recall the former building on the site of the stretch tent.

Opening Times and How to Find Us

We are open every Friday and Saturday!

The (indoor) Sky Wave Gin and Cocktail Bar is open 6pm - 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Bar 101 @ Sky Wave (the outdoor bar) will reopen on Saturday 25 April 2026.

We are also open at other times in the summer, and when there are events on at Bicester Motion. Keep an eye on this web page for updates.

How to find Us

We are located at the top of the main avenue on the fabulous Bicester Motion site on Buckingham Road, Bicester. And yes, the site IS open to the public, even if the barriers are down! On arrival at the site main gate on Buckingham Road, just come the the security box and tell the staff you are coming to The Sky Wave Bar. If the gate is not manned use the intercom to call us and we can open the gate for you remotely. Then proceed 200m straight on up the main avenue and we are at the top on the left.

What to Expect

Open every Friday and Saturday 6pm - 11pm.

We serve some of the best cocktails to be found, anywhere. Not just in Oxfordshire, not just outside of London, but anywhere. This is a bold claim - so come and put us to the test.

Our head mixologist, Joe, is an absolute magician in crafting perfectly balanced flavours and textures in the cocktails we offer, using our world-class gins and vodka. Our cocktail menu changes regularly and we also sometimes have special and one-off cocktails.

We also serve Fairmile Oxfordshire sparkling wine from Henley (as good as any champagne), Hook Norton beer, soft drinks, and of course Sky Wave Gin and Tonic using our range of 7 gins, including our fabulous Fruit Gin for Grownups™, Raspberry and Rhubarb and Orange and Madagascan Vanilla. And don't forget we also serve our award-winning Sky Wave Triple Distilled Vodka and our excellent (and also award-winning) Sky Wave Zero alcohol-free spirit.
